David Hunter SEARLE

David SEARLE was laid to rest at Brighton General Cemetery in 1946 at the age of 90.

Brighton General Cemetery, established in 1854, is one of Melbourne’s oldest and most historically significant burial grounds. The land was set aside in 1853 to serve the growing population south of the Yarra, and the cemetery recorded its first burial in 1855.
